I run a company that is almost solely based on the access to the Internet and the software tools that reside on our computers. Obviously, as we all have experienced that the Microsoft operating platform was not built to last for a long period of time without having issues. These issues can bring down not only the user experiencing the problem but if it occurs on the main server, the whole company and the ensuing production, comes to an abrupt halt.
My background comes from that of a CEO/Founder of one of the preeminent computer technology companies in the Charlotte area from 1995 to 2001, System 5 Technologies, which was purchased by a large public company in that final year. So given my background, I am very particular with who supports my technology and the level of support and expertise I demand.
On more than one occasions I have had an emergency situation where even eSmith IT’s 4 hour response wasn’t quick enough. Fortunately, eSmith IT is a very responsive group of IT support professionals and instead of waiting out their 4 hour response time to contact me; I have had response from them in less than 15 minutes once the emergency call was logged in.
